Should the government own parts of the country including companies?

If we want to change mobile phone supplier we are free to choose from a range of suppliers. But can we choose which hospital we use in the same way? How about which train company we use? Should the government own companies in areas where people have no choices?

Are books still relevant today?

For centuries books have been one of the most efficient ways to record and pass on both information and ideas. They have been used for passing in knowledge and for entertaining people throughout history. But are they still relevant in a world where digital communication rules all?

Should we care more about where the things we buy come from?

It is tough keeping up with fashions whether they are clothing, technology, or the media we consume. Keeping up can be expensive so the pressure is always on to finder cheaper alternatives. But should we care more about the effect this has on others around the world? Should children be protected from seeing adverts for these things in the media they consume?
